Dr Alister Jones completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Bachelor of medicine and surgery (MBBS) at the University of Queensland. His resident training was undertaken on the Gold Coast before successful completion of his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at posts in Queensland, NSW and the ACT. This broad training experience has allowed significant experience in both open and endovascular surgery. In Canberra he has appointments in both the public and private health systems, and also runs a clinic in Goulburn, NSW.

 

His interests include peripheral arterial disease, complex aortic endografting, carotid surgery, open and endovenous surgery and vascular access surgery.
